These are very cool, but #4 confuses me. Is she pretending to be barren? Pretending NOT to be barren? Why would she need to pretend to Mai either way?

I feel that Ty Lee knows she is being followed, and allows it, but periodically beats her persuers up just to let Mai KNOW that she knows.
